Vox says she’s never fit into a particular box as a singer who is also a drag artist, but she’s never been one to limit her talents on the stage to fit societal standards. As soon as I heard about this, I said, ‘Mama’s got to jump on that.’ And I guess it worked out one way or another. ![]() “I’ve done this all before, but I’ve never done it in a way that feels like it’s truly made to appreciate people like me,” Vox told KSAT during a South Texas Pride Q&A. The business plans cost more than competitors, so it’s a good idea to research further before choosing one. Both software are not too demanding on a device but, from our testing, we found that Bitdefender made less of an impact on a device’s performance than Norton. If you know in advance you’ll want to protect more than one device, Bitdefender will likely be a more affordable option for personal use. Because they both have various plans, you’ll want to consider each plan’s prices and limitations before choosing one. Knowledge base, phone support and ticket systemīoth Bitdefender and Norton are solid choices for an antivirus scanner. One on basic plan unlimited on higher-tier plans Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iOS and Android Real-time virus, malware and ransomware protection $39.99 for the first year $89.99 upon renewalįree $50.28 to $119.88 per year (for the first year) Customer Supportīoth Bitdefender and Norton are easy to reach and have the same methods of customer support: a knowledge base, 24/7 live chat, phone and email support. The company’s highest-priced plan, which is geared for small office security, costs $89.99 and supports 10 devices. With Bitdefender, the lowest-priced plan protects up to three devices and the number goes up to 15 for the Bitdefender Family Pack. Maximum Number of Devicesįor both Bitdefender and Norton, the number of devices you can use will depend on the plan you choose. However, both of these companies’ paid plans support Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS and Android. Bitdefender’s free version only works for Windows. It’s important to make sure the operating systems you use are supported by the antivirus you choose. It also comes with Norton’s LifeLock Identity Alert System, which will inform you when your Social Security number or other personal identifying information is used on credit, loan or other applications. The highest-tiered plan, Norton 360 with LifeLock Ultimate Plus at $299.88 for the first year, offers insurance for identity theft damages of up to $3 million dollars in coverage. While Bitdefender and Norton cost the same for their basic plan, Norton offers more services for their higher-priced plans. ![]() Norton does not offer a free version, but the plan starts at $19.99. The paid version will secure your files from encryption by ransomware, runs faster than the free version, will prevent unauthorized access of your webcam and microphone, lets you access your devices remotely in case your device is hacked and finally, comes with an included VPN. Additionally, the paid plan offers additional features compared with the free version. It can be a good starting point, but if you own a Mac, Android or iOS, the most affordable plan will be the basic Antivirus Plus, which costs $19.99 for the first year. ![]() Knowledge base, 24/7 live chat, phone and email supportīitdefender offers a free version for Windows. You could write a gushing review of “Time Code” as a concrete poem shaped like a moebius strip and you would still be a galaxy away from Kieron’s review of Darwinia. …the most pretentious review ever written about anything…. What is most interesting is that one of the people Robin Hunicke mentioned as, “look beyond muzzle flashes, explosions and crisp sound” is also the same person that wrote what Something Awful called That is more of what I think of when I think about journalism instead of reviews. Maybe it is because of my research interests, but I’m a lot more interested in the non-review journalism such as articles that talk about trends in gaming or gaming culture. ![]() While I like reading reviews, I read videogame reviews the same way I read film reviews: with a grain of salt. But do people really 100% trust one videogame review? Most of the comments here talk about horrible reviews, but is reviewing really journalism? Is Roger Ebert a journalist? Not to degrade reviewers. I know, I know, saying that taste is subjective is a pretty crazy idea! I’m not saying I’m some bastion of good taste. Reading these posts, however, it seems that people have very very different ideas of what “good” is. So once again, people are talking about videogame journalism and how horrible it is. Suggesting that gamers don’t know the definition of a word when the person who posted this obviously doesn’t know the definition of what it means to be a good Christian or what it means to be compassionate strikes me as quite ironic. Whomever posted it must have a taste for irony. One can only hope that this is not really Thompson and that it is just some tasteless joke by a troll. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess. ![]() Let’s pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer “buds,” knowing he was killing himself, couldn’t figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. Hey, let’s all play MORE games, and ignore all the really productive things to do with our lives. Do you feel any remorse for having contributed to this “culture of death?” Of course not. You are one of the cheerleaders for this wasting of time and the wasting of lives. The utter inanity of the vast majority of postings here shows how vapid “gaming” really is. There are literally millions of young people and young adults whose despair is deepend by turning to the things of this world and then finding them meaningless.Īll of you gamers need to put down the controllers and get a life. ![]() ![]() The real tragedy here extends beyond the life and death of this one fellow. If you gamers could use a dictionary you would know that that term is not necessarily a sexual one. The playing of these video games is masturbatory activity, meaning senseless self-stimulation. This unfortunate soul chose to fill it up with combat games. You can fill it up with the things of God, or the things not of God. Your “gamer friend” will find peace through the Lord, Jesus Christ, but sadly it’s too late for that. Here is the message that is attributed to Thompson: got a copy of it before it was deleted and posted Jack Thompson’s response to the suicide. Apparently, Jack Thompson, anti-videogame lawyer and compassionate man apparently posted a message so horrible that the comment was deleted and Game Politics has decided to no longer allow anonymous comments. Game Politics has a story of a gamer who committed suicide. 1/1/2024 0 Comments Buick encore gx safety rating![]() The Encore GX has 23.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back row and 50.2 cubic feet with the back row folded down. In fact the only tool I would like is Perspective Warp but I do have Warp which used skillfully would get you there. OK so you get the latest updates and any new tools released but truly useful stuff we have already with CS6. Plus you don't think CC will remain at £10pm right? And what would it have been now per month had they have started subs 15 years ago? OK so I am a miser but a miser with £1160 in my pocket. Photoshop 7.0 cost £700 and if it supported 64bit processing I would probably still be using it. Lets say Adobe ran subscription only in 2002, at £10pm. You can call me a miser if you like but look at it this way. The first 64bit Photoshop arrived with CS4 in 2008 and while I was using the CS products at work I wasn't about to shell out £1000 when my PSP 7.0 did the job well enough for me at home. My main issue then was there were no 64bit systems so I could never utilise the full potential of memory or CPU. I wanted to upgrade from my ageing Photoshop 7.0 released in 2002 which I bought and have used all this time. The Cre ative Suite (CC) is a very feature rich product and for most people is a daunting prospect as the tools available can be and are very complex if you get into them properly. Admittedly this allows casual users to simply try the software and if they don't get on with it can simply dump it. Sadly Adobe went subscription and recently hiked their prices to over £10 per month. I can now use ALL of my 32GB of RAM CHECK I now have a true 64bit Photoshop App CHECK Reset Tool option in Photoshop CS6 and earlier. I updated CS6 to all the latest updates direct from Adobe CHECK Legacy versions (CS6 and earlier) Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (macOS) the Tool Preset Picker in the Tool options bar and choose Reset Tool to reset the active tool, or choose Reset All Tools to reset all tools to their factory default settings. I registered my CS6 license with Adobe without issues CHECK I installed CS6 Extended without a problem CHECK Surely then £14.99 seems too good to be true. After all CS6 Extended was a hefty $1000 product when it was released in 2012 and if you could still buy it as a one off purchase would cost you probably double that or in the UK today maybe £2000. I have to say I was a little nervous about buying this item. ![]() EXCELLENT VALUE - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - NO FAKE NEWS HERE! |
